A salt and damp resistant adhesive glue for fixing plasterboard directly to masonry surfaces. It is specifically formulated to work on walls treated with Dryzone Salt Inhibitor Cream. It is also effective as a general use adhesive. Dryzone is a special damp-proofing cream that is introduced along the mortar course at regular intervals by injecting it into pre-drilled holes. The Dryzone then diffuses before curing to form a continuous water-repellent barrier. This prevents the damp from rising up the wall. Since the 1950s, liquid chemical injection systems, which work in a similar way have been used to treat rising damp with a high degree of success. For heritage projects, or where replastering needs to be minimised Dryzone Renovation Plasters should be used. For Rising Damp treatment Dryrod Damp-Proofing Rods are the latest innovation in rising damp treatments. They are patented 12mm diameter grooved fibre rods that carry a powerful water repellent material. Dryrod has been thoroughly tested and is independently approved by the British Board of Agrement.
